Upwind Region
Overview
The upwind variable sets the Upwind region that the components connect to. The module builds the authentication and API endpoints from the region.
| Attribute | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
region | string | "us" | The Upwind region. Allowed values: us, eu, me, ap, au. |
Set region to the region of your Upwind organization.
module "upwind_ecs_runtime" {
source = "https://get.upwind.io/terraform/modules/aws-ecs-runtime/aws-ecs-runtime-1.5.1.tar.gz"
ecs_cluster_name = "my-ecs-cluster"
vpc_id = "vpc-0123456789abcdef0"
subnets = ["subnet-0123456789abcdef0", "subnet-0fedcba9876543210"]
credentials = {
client_id = var.upwind_client_id
client_secret = var.upwind_client_secret
}
upwind = {
region = "eu"
}
}
Endpoints
For the us region, the endpoints have no region prefix. For every other region, the module adds the region as a prefix.
| Region | Authentication endpoint | API endpoint |
|---|---|---|
us | oauth.upwind.io | agent.upwind.io |
eu | oauth.eu.upwind.io | agent.eu.upwind.io |
The me, ap, and au regions follow the same pattern as eu. All regions use the same image registry, registry.upwind.io.
Make sure your network allows outbound access to these domains. For the full list, see Upwind architecture.
